I have an odd secret to confess. Not many people know about it, but I guess that the secret is about to be well known. Are you ready? Delightful. I can turn invisible. Wait, hold on! I'm not crazy. I have come to this conclusion after years of research into why I can successfully be ignored both at brick and mortar stores as well as by customer service. I can look you right in the eyes, give you a VERY specific piece of information, repeat it, and you will still get it wrong. This must be because of my powers of invisibility, which distort my image, voice, and actions from normal human senses. I know that my dog could sense me, and this doesn't extend to anyone who knows me, but all others can successfully not see me for long periods of time.

Of Comic Books, Cartoons, and Fanboys...
The people who read this blog have a connection to me and who I am. We are kindred spirits. Our passions for technology are apparent not just in products we own but the things we read about. For those of you, I say thanks. Now you can stop reading right here, because this next little bit won't be about technology, but another passion of mine: Comic books. WAIT!! No!!! Come back!

Is The Nokia/Microsoft Partnership A Match Made In Heaven?
They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. At this point there should be no doubt that Nokia can make some beautiful and impressive phones. There should ALSO be no doubt that Microsoft has made an impressive piece of software with Windows Phone 7. So what would a combination of these two look like? Well, Engadget was the first to show us a picture of some of conceptual designs of these very phones!

Greetings Nokia! Welcome to the real world!
News today has been reporting that Nokia is making two of the smartest moves since they created the Nokia 2160. A combination in the news that the Symbian OS is on its way out, and that Windows Phone 7 OS is the potential way in has pleased more than one fan of Nokia. I have been as big of a fan of Nokia over the years as I was of Motorola (read how that turned out here) until recently.

Motorola Cliq, Or How I Learned to Hate T-Mobile Customer Service in 12 Complicated Exchanges
As a fan of technology, there are few things that I look forward to more than unboxing day. It is a magical time in my techy life where I get to: a.) Break the seal on a box, b.) Remove the packaging, c.) Remove the protective film (usually with a ton of help from my 2 year old), d.) Discard the instructions, and e.) Power up and activate my newest product.

Captain America: The First Avenger
So I just saw the poster for Captain America: The First Avenger. Love it? Hate it? Both? Well, I have a love/hate relationship with it, but not for the reasons that may seem obvious. The composition of the poster is solid. Somber, gritty, war torn, and blue. Wait, blue? Yeah, blue. I have a problem with the portrayal of colors as being reflective of how you should feel about a certain film.
Dude...You're getting a Dell!!
For all of the crap that I have heard over the years about how Dell makes good products but GREAT excuses, I have to say that I have done my best top avoid them. Being from Texas I have wanted to purchase a product made by a company from my hone state, but once Compaq became HP, all that was left was The House of Michael. "For the money you can find a better product with much better customer service." Well, for everyone with these thoughts, I have just one word to describe my experience: WRONG!!
